Hi there! I'm Cory Abercrombie, a retired professional athlete based in Tampere. I was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. During my middle school I played basketball and American football. My older sister played basketball and she was my biggest influence to focus more on basketball. After middle school I played high school basketball, participating also in summer leagues such as the AAU organization.
I got noticed by an independent Community College and received the All-American award after playing basketball there for two years. I moved on to Pittsburgh State University. My university career went better than I could ever imagine, I earned multiple awards such an All American, All Defense and Honorable Mention and made both All-stars teams and so on.
During my last year of University, I received an opportunity to play in Hungary and I took that chance which led me to start my professional career all over Europe, including Germany, Luxembourg, Czech Republic and eventually Finland where I now permanently live.
With a love for functional training and explosive workouts, I’m always exploring new adventures and opportunities. When I’m not at the gym, you can find me hiking, fishing or working with youth basketball players.
As your go-to trainer I will make your fitness fun and exciting! Whether you are a newbie or seasoned pro, I am here to help you crush your goals and feel FUNtastic!
